Entre-nous formed part of the solo exhibition ‘The Forest is the Best Place’. The work was made in situ in relation to the space.
The exhibition involved works that combine projected images, a cardboard box, a frozen mobile, and in an adjacent gallery space an installation which consisted of glass-beaded screens and industrial drum fans.
The frozen work evolved daily and only existed over the time of the exhibition. As the viewer entered the gallery they were hit by strong wind in one room and cold ambient air in the second gallery.
The work operates in the dichotomy between the emptiness of an object and the fragility of an encounter.
