In this piece, the viewer walked into a room and encountered a patch of frosting wallpaper in which the flower pattern was continually growing and changing.
The visual experience became a sensory experience only by taking a closer look and experiencing the cold on the skin.
The work focuses on the ephemerality of the moment, and of a memory which is often unexpectedly triggered by an experience.
In this work I was exploring experiences related to the haptic, the sensory and its language; a sudden and ephemeral instant when the present and the past are merging together.
